Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
- You don’t need an account, and we don’t ask for your name or email to use the tools.
- Files you open are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us.
- We use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics. We don’t sell data and we don’t run advertising trackers.
- Edit Portal is independent and is not affiliated with Adobe Inc.
This Privacy Policy explains how Edit Portal (“Edit Portal”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you visit editportal.net and use its tools (together, the “Service”).
1. Files you open in the tools
Beat Marker, Audio Studio, Quality Boost, Smooth Slow-Mo, Motion Blur, the AE File Converter and the Expression Generator run entirely in your web browser. Audio, video, images, .aep projects and .ffx presets you open are processed locally on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers, and we cannot see, access, store or share them. Files you export are created on your device and saved directly by your browser.
2. AI features
Quality Boost’s AI modes, Smooth Slow-Mo and Motion Blur run on your device using your browser’s graphics capabilities (WebGPU). To do this, your browser downloads the AI model files from editportal.net and, for AI Pro, a runtime component from the jsDelivr content network (cdn.jsdelivr.net). Only these program files are downloaded; your images and videos are never sent anywhere. As with any website request, jsDelivr receives standard technical information such as your IP address.
3. Information collected automatically
Hosting. The Service is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request in order to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.
Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages and tools are used. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and gives us aggregated statistics only (for example page views, referring sites, country and device type). We cannot use it to identify you.
4. Local storage in your browser
We store a small amount of information in your browser so the site works smoothly:
- whether you have dismissed the notice about this policy (local storage);
- whether you have already seen the intro animation during your current visit (session storage, cleared when you close the tab).
This information stays on your device, is never sent to us, and can be cleared at any time in your browser settings. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Third-party services
Some parts of the site are provided by, or link to, other companies, each of which handles data under its own privacy policy:
- Google Fonts, which delivers the fonts used on the site;
- Cloudflare, for hosting and analytics;
- jsDelivr, for the AI Pro runtime;
- Discord, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Payhip, which we link to. Once you follow a link, that service’s own policies apply.
6. When you contact us
If you email us or message us on Discord, we receive the information you choose to share (such as your name, username or email address and the content of your message). We use it only to reply to you and to handle your request, and we delete it when it is no longer needed.
7. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Users must also meet the minimum age required by the platforms we link to.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the European Union or the United Kingdom), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to how it is used. Because the tools do not collect personal information, this mainly applies to messages you have sent us. To make a request, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service changes. The “Last updated” date at the top always shows the current version. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the site.
10. No affiliation with Adobe
Edit Portal is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or otherwise connected to Adobe Inc. or any of its subsidiaries, and no information is shared with Adobe through the Service. Adobe, After Effects and Premiere Pro are either registered trademarks or trademarks of Adobe Inc. in the United States and/or other countries. These names are used only to describe compatibility.
